Hundreds of parishioners, school parents and students volunteer each year to work at the Italian Festival.  Every volunteer's work shift is essential to the success of the festival and we thank everyone who gives of their time willingly and cheerfully. Coordinating the activities of all the committees is a key element, too.  Led by Dr. Richard Porraro, the dedicated committee chair-persons work throughout the year, reviewing the previous year's events and planning for the next. FESTIVAL SECURITY VOLUNTEERS

 If you sign up to work festival security,

you MUST ATTEND A MANDATORY

 security meeting.

If you do not attend, your shift will be given to someone else and then you may fall short on your required hours.


The 1st meeting date is:

Parents of Junior High Students:
A letter to parents detailing what your junior high student can sign-up for to receive credit for service hours.

Service Hour Policy:
Each family is required to donate 12 hours to the Festival.  Of the 12 hours, NINE hours must for worked during the festival weekend.  The other 3 hours may be worked doing pre-festival activities, or can also be worked at the festival.  You may have ADULT family members or friends donate their hours to your family as along as your youngest child's name is noted on their sign-up form.

Because the evening shifts are the busiest times, We are requesting that you sign-up to work at least one evening shift: Friday at 7:30 PM, Saturday at 6:30 PM, and/or Sunday at 4:00 PM.

 REMINDER: There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all Security Workers. The security meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7th at 7PM in the Parish Hall. If you do not attend, your shift will be give to someone else and then you may fall short on your required hours. You will receive one pre-festival service hour, which will be credited toward your Italian Festival requirement.
